Raise Your Stage Presence

Are you satisfied with your stage presence?

Do you feel that you have a lot to offer, but that it's not coming across when you perform?

Are you sometimes totally "on" and in the zone, but then sometimes totally "off"?

This presentation and discussion series, which will be delivered in February 2020 as a live online webinar (recorded), with accompanying discussions in the Ginger City website forum, will give you the mindset tools to proceed towards a more impactful onstage presence. We'll dig into the idea of stage presence itself: What it entails, how it's created, and why tools such as breathwork and eye contact help... but also why they're not enough. Ranya will be sharing a model for building your stage presence through understanding your role onstage and understanding your relationship to your audience... on ANY stage, and how you can create the stage itself, as well as your presence on it, using a combination of mental and physical tools.

In This Episode

Do you think that stage presence requires an actual stage? What about a performance space at all?

I have a feeling that today is going to open your eyes.

Today’s guest Ranya is contributing a live talk on Stage Presence to this year’s bundle, so today we’re doing a deep dive in a couple of aspects of stage presence. What it is, how often you REALLY use it, and a couple of exercisese to help you practice. Whether you’re on the stage or not.

It can feel like a tricky thing to practice, one of those ineffable aspects of our dance, but Ranya has some amazing tips that you can put into practice right after you finish listening!
